If Suzuka is lost from next year's calendar...Bernie had better allow there to be 2 Japanese races. Normally I would say that this shouldn't be allowed, but if Italy and Germany will have 2...

Putting money for Bernie/Team Owners over the fans and drivers wishes..... shocked! shocked I am! <laugh>

I hate 2 races in the same country, but if that's what it takes to keep one of the few real 'racing' tracks on the calendar, so be it.

Whats the problem with Fuji? It's a good circuit, It's fast and technical too. It's a much better circuit than Suzuka

Fuji is another Tilkedrome. It's too fiddly and has a bad infield section much like Indianapolis. Fuji in the past may have been good, this one isn't. Suzuka is much better.

Valencia may end up getting the European GP. It's being extended/upgraded to bring it up to F1-standard. Or there may just not be a European race.

You dimwit. Fuji was around before Tilke started drawing. Hunt won a world title there in 1976

Isn't there a clause in the concorde agreement that says circuits can't alternate

It's had a makeover since then. It is now a dull track. Search for it on racingcircuits.net

I have driven it on GT4. Terrible track.

I know, They've increased the radius of the first besnd and put a few chicanes in. I've seen it when they have raced JGTC.
If you want a half decent circuit in Japan go to Motegi

The current concorde agreement expires in 2007 anyway, and I'm sure if it suited Max and Bernie they could get their own way. They usually do, unfortunately.

The Concorde Agreement also had rules about testing and engines and such <erm>

They'll 'bend' it if it makes them more money.

The straights aren't long enough for F1 though. They need to be at least 1km long for the cars to pick up a tow nowadays.
