Keep your cool everyone! Don't fret just yet.

Camp e-mails have been sent out, but you might not get them when everybody else does! Wait it out over the weekend and relax. They'll continue to show up in inboxes. Also be sure to check your junk mail folders if you use a service that tries to sweep spam, it might show up in there by accident!

Even if you don't end up getting one, it's probably okay. Many people who didn't receive camp mail in the past (myself included) still got into camp just fine. Not getting your e-mail isn't the end of the world. Everything you need to know will be posted on the Trading Post at camp.

You will know which cabin you are in when you view the forums at Camp Hyrule. Trust me, you will.

If you got two cabin assignments, this is an e-mail glitch. You're really only in one of the cabins. Again, you will know when you access the Camp Hyrule forums on Monday.

Here is the e-mail for anyone who wants to know what information is included.

Howdy, campers!

Camp Hyrule 2004 begins on Monday (8/16), and here at Nintendo Headquarters we're getting really excited about what we're hoping will be the best camp ever.

You have been assigned to Cabin [#], and your Cabin Counselors will be [your counselors] (NOA stands for Nintendo of America). Camp Hyrule begins at 8:00 am PDT on August 16, and ends the evening of August 20. Camp will open earlier at 6:00 am PDT on Tuesday through Friday.

When you click Enter Camp at www.camphyrule.com on Monday, the first thing you'll see is the main map of camp. You can explore tons of chat rooms by clicking around on this main map. Camp Hyrule bulletin boards are also accessible from www.camphyrule.com. Click on the picture of the cabins and you'll be able to check out all of this year's cabins. Click on your cabin's chat link to enter your Cabin Chat. You can chat at Camp Hyrule whenever it's open, but you should be sure to show up for at least one of your Cabin Chats every day.

Here is your Cabin Chat schedule (all times are Pacific Daylight-Savings Time):

[AM meeting]

and

[PM meeting]

A little friendly competition between cabins never hurts, and that's why we hold a Camp Hyrule Contest every year. By participating in Camp Hyrule activities throughout the week, you can earn points for your cabin. On Friday, the Camp Directors will reward prizes based on your cabin's performance throughout the week.

On the first day of camp, you'll decide on a name for your cabin during the first cabin chat of the day. Also, everyone in your cabin will have the chance to design an official cabin flag. If you want to get started on it now, go for it! The image should be 200 (w) x 150 (h) pixels, formatted as a jpg, pct, bmp or gif file. Your counselor will give you more information about where to send your completed design when camp begins.

To avoid technical difficulties, make sure that you have all of the necessary free downloads and plug-ins listed below.

Sincerely,

Camp Hyrule Directors
