Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Without a comment on Kavanaugh, but this struck me as funny:

Gotta give credit where due, that is clever.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

He ran the Boston Marathon.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Kavanaugh is unquestionably qualified but that may not be the criteria. Odds makers have him confirmed yet stuff happens.

At least tonight, dems are going to the mat on this. I suppose in one respect it is a good strategy to rally the base for the mid terms.

Consider him between Roberts and Scalia.

Next up? If the Repubs hold the Senate, and the Wicked Witch gets on her broom and goes home, I think you'll see some Second Lining down at SCOTUS...But if the Dems sink this one, I think she'll be next up.

In fairness, there does not exist a non-controversial pick for the supreme court.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Where's that going to go, the Supreme Court?

As Jonah Goldberg said, "I think he's the taste-tester at the lead paint factory."
