I was a little surprised this afternoon to hear that Bill Cosby was found guilty, because rich and famous people are often found not guilty, even though they obviously are guilty...like O.J. Simpson back in the 90's.

When asked by reporters if the defense team plans to appeal the verdict, an annoyed Mesereau (Mr. Cosby's lawyer) replied, "Yes, yes. Very strongly."

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

One needs to be really careful with who they hang out with. Seems like everyone might have been engaging in poor judgement and the person with the greatest means is going to bear the brunt. No I’m not victim shaming and if anyone was given drugs against their will I would have no mercy. I just don’t know and have to trust the jury.

How unfortunate for Cosby's victims that Cosby plans to appeal. They've been through too much already.

Cosby’s chief accuser had already rceived $3.4 million as a settlement from him. What do you figure her motivation was to help prosecute?

More money? Naaah. Couldnt be. :rolleyes2:

Those days are over. No more confidentiality agreements of these kind go forward. Just plumbing through old ones and busting them open. Some fine money to be made.

Dont get me wrong - I dont support what he most likely did. Im just not sure his accusers are much better.

Drugging women to rape them is a pretty high bar for his accusers to have to hit - and there's 40 of them. Yeah, he tried buy people off - but I think people were trying to find one person where the statute of limitations wouldn't limit the prosecution.

When is sentencing anyway?
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Probably never. Appeals will go on forever or until he runs out of money.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.
