Finally
Watched this mini-series on Netflix over the last few days.

Compelling story. Guy falls in love with another guy who happens to be an MI6 agent. The agent is harboring a deep secret about lie detection and how it can be made foolproof. MI6 guy is killed, and his lover embarks on a quest to find out what happened.

London Spy begins as the story of two young men: Danny (Ben Whishaw)—gregarious, hedonistic, and romantic—falls in love with Alex (Edward Holcroft)—asocial, enigmatic, and brilliant. Just as they discover how perfect they are for each other, Alex disappears. Danny finds Alex's body. They lived very different lives: Danny is from a world of clubbing and youthful excess; Alex, it turns out, worked for the Secret Intelligence Service. Although utterly ill-equipped to take on the world of espionage, Danny decides to fight for the truth about Alex's death.
Fantastic performances by Ben Whishaw and Charlotte Rampling (I *love* Charlotte Rampling). Interesting direction and compelling story.

Finally, when everything is revealed (shocker ending), the series stops.

Just. Stops.

FFS. If you're going to tease me with the beginning of a story, ferchrissakes, at least tell me how it ends.

If you're interested in good direction great acting, and a compelling story, enjoy!

If you want to know how it all ends, don't waste your time. :veryangry:

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

It doesn't stop. This is called an open ending. Typical British
