Finally
|
Watched this mini-series on Netflix over the last few days. Compelling story. Guy falls in love with another guy who happens to be an MI6 agent. The agent is harboring a deep secret about lie detection and how it can be made foolproof. MI6 guy is killed, and his lover embarks on a quest to find out what happened. Fantastic performances by Ben Whishaw and Charlotte Rampling (I *love* Charlotte Rampling). Interesting direction and compelling story. Finally, when everything is revealed (shocker ending), the series stops. Just. Stops. FFS. If you're going to tease me with the beginning of a story, ferchrissakes, at least tell me how it ends. If you're interested in good direction great acting, and a compelling story, enjoy! If you want to know how it all ends, don't waste your time.
