Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 215,000 for the week ended March 24, the lowest level since January 1973. (Nixon was President, 55 MPH was the speed limit, there was no earned income credit, and weekly church attendance had declined to 40% but births to unwed mothers, though increasing, was 13%, Jesus Christ Superstar came out and we still had a robust space program).
The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.- George Soros
