Geaux Tigers!
Had two doctor appointments today and had a long layover between. So, rather than drive 30 miles home and back again, I enjoyed a sumptuous repast at KFC ($5 fillup) and cooled my heels at the movies.

About the only one that worked out time-wise, was Black Panther. Maybe a bit better story than the average Marvel movie, but still a superhero epic. Nice popcorn movie.

That $5 fillup looks pretty good. Which one did you get?

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

I’ve heard it’s entertaining, I asked the boy if he wanted to see it and he (seriously) said he’d rather wait for the DVD.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Did you tell him about the marshmallow test?

Or is he just nostalgic like old people waiting for VHS?

Ive never told him about the marshmallow test, but I will.

I think the day he said that he didn’t feel like going to the movies. Just wanted to stay home and play.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
