Seems like he’d have to go through several steps to do it. Rosenstein seems to be on board with the probe. Sessions has recused himself. So seems like Sessions will have to be removed first (I could be wrong)

Comey talked a bit about not interfering with elections while in his job.

Comey now has a book coming, McCabe has notes. Looks like both have points of view regarding the mid terms elections.

Mueller’s investigation should not bump up against mid terms.

Exactly. Mueller has now expanded his investigation into Trump's business dealings. As an international business person, of course Trump has business dealings with Russia.

The Special Counsel was convened and Mueller was appointed, on what now has been proven to be an unvetted and dubious dossier. If anything, this needs to be wrapped up and a Special Counsel appointed to look into FISA court abuses. Not to mention all the Clinton chicanery we have walked away from.
