So these guys were in the back yard. I kind of wanted them to leave, so I opened the back door and stepped outside. No zoom, I was 30-40 feet from them.

Not only did they not leave, most of them didn't even look over.

I use this spray, I can't say for sure if it works, but it smells bad.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Two nights ago, I had four does and a yearling in the field eyeing my garden.

If it hadn't been the middle of the night and I was just too lazy to skin one out, the wife had one in the crosshairs.

Saw that.

You'd have to be on some of the high dollar leases in Texas to have anything nicer.

All I know about deer is that the males have horns and the females don't, I love to watch them play in my yard, and I won't allow anyone to shoot anything on my property...

Up in Jon's part of the world, the bucks have shed their antlers this time of year, so they look like does, except for body size.

Jon, that's what we have in our yard most nights, too. In the winter when the snow is deep, they walk down the sidewalks instead of through the snow, or they'll walk down the plowed streets.

Hipster deer.
