It's a well known fact among New England Patriots fans that it's quarterback, Tom Brady, one of the all time great NFL quarterbacks, is a perfectionist when it comes to playing quarterback. He's a perfectionist during practice as well as in games. And considering how successful Brady's been over the years, it's clear that being a perfectionist works for him. However, if I were to try to be a perfectionist, whether it be playing in a pick-up football game, working at a volunteer job, or whatever, I'd stress myself out by being too hard on myself every time I made even a small error. It just goes to show that everyone is different, that's for sure. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

If I'm doing something, I don't want to not care about doing a good job. But I don't want to be a perfectionist either. For me, their has to be a balance. |

I agree with this. At some point and doing some things, doing the last 5% make take an additional 5 times effort and money (or more), and the difference will not be noticed by anyone. At that time, a person has to realize that 95% is good enough. |
