Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Lotta shaving to do for that one.
That’s what one of the surgeons in the picture said.

The story said it took “five hours” - an unusually long time for an appendectomy. He told me that that time was from the time the orang was “darted” until it recovered. Shaving and prepping were a signinifcant part of the time.

One of the surgeons sent me an email:

"They used propofol and an inhalation agent, isoflurane, I think. I didn’t ask about muscle relaxant. The ET (endotracheal tube) tube was huge! The ventilator bellows were too, but designed for horses. The OR table was also for horses. Not the best for us."

Wait a second, is the monkey lying on his belly? Does the surgery work different than for a human?

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Did they bill Medicare?
I think the gorilla was only 40 years old, and therefore not eligible for Medicare.

Q: So, how different from a human appy was it?

A: Skin is like leather. But anatomically very similar to humans.

Their legs and feet are not the same as ours.

The belly button tells that the tummy is up. :lol2:
