Apparently it would cost at least $30K to climb Everest. If they can afford it let them go.

Maybe make them buy insurance to cover the cost of dragging their body off the mountain.

A friend of mine did it almost 20 years ago and it cost him $50k total.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
