Wife cooked her version of their BBQ Shrimp tonight. Shame we didn't have the good french bread to sop the juice...

You can probably find a recipe on the web. Worth doing.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

It's worth sopping.

Supposedly, Manales is the originator of bbq shrimp, which aren't barbecued. They're cooked in a iron skillet. I think the wife used the recipe from the Times-Picayune and then had to look elsewhere to find the make-up of the Manale seasoning. Turned out well.

They're really good when you take a nice piece of french bread, hollow out the middle a bit and stuff some shrimp in their and drizzle some of the pan juice in with them.

Went to friends’ home tonight for Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon. Excellent, and very nice to be cooked for.

Senior Carp

That's my favorite recipe for shrimp.

My husband and I will have three bowls in front of us- one full of shrimp; one empty for the shells; and one with sliced baguettes for sopping. It can get pretty messy, but it's worth it.

The wife likes shrimp like Bubba Blue...Boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, shrimp creole, shrimp&grits, firecracker shrimp, shrimp etoufee, shrimp scampi, shrimp remoulade...

I always save my shrimp shells and freeze them to make stock. Yummy stuff.
