Dozens, probably. Arguably the best "Trek" movie, right?

Well, how about a modern trailer?

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

And, how about "Star Trek: The Motion Picture?" Arguably the worst "Trek" movie....

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
In retrospect it is surprising II was ever made, I was so very bad.
Once in his life, every man is entitled to fall madly in love with a gorgeous redhead - Lucille Ball

Never seen a single episode of Star Trek or any of the movies. I can’t imagine there are many American males my age who can say that.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Loved Star Trek growing up, remember this movie well. Never cared much for any of the sequel series.

HOLY CARP!!!
TNG had a good heart but some characters entirely failed. Riker was a non-thing and Worf's greatest contribution was to introduce the concept of being "worfed": a literary device wherein a big tough character tries to be big and tough against something magical, and loses. Oh, and he also advised the captain to "attack! attack!" several times, suggestions which were inevitably rejected.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

At some point it becomes a personal project to avoid certain things. I knew a guy who never saw an episode of Seinfeld, back in the day. It was something he'd talk about. But he had to try.

Riker wasn’t a “non-thing,” he was just a crap foil to the captain.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

I liked the original Star Trek series, but never watched the sequel series.

Of course I watched all the movies several times, isn't that required?

I can 't say I never saw an episode of Seinfeld, back in the day, but close.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy
