HOLY CARP!!!
No matter how much the critics say it sucked, the producers and actors and loads of other people having wored on the movie will still laugh their ways to the banks.

Chances are, those of you so say it sucked will still pony up to watch the Hans Solo story and Episode IX, whenever they come up. I know there is a very high likelihood that I will.

Nah. Already said nope to the Han Solo flick, and I think the I will likely wait until Episosmde 9 comes to HBO or Netflix.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Don't get your point. I mean well yeah. One has nothing to do with the other.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

It was OK, about the same as the others.

It was interesting to learn that girls are good, boys not so much.

Yes. My problem with all of them is I suspended belief. They left me little choice.

Finally got around to see this.

Man, I'm so glad I didn't go to the cinema for this.

I fast-forwarded a lot because it was so boring. I agree with all the issues of sloppy writing pointed out by Moonbat, but even as a purely "turn your brains off" action/SciFi movie it was just plain boring.

I wish had spent that time arranging my sock drawer instead. What all those reviewers who gave this movie excellent ratings were thinking is a miracle to me.

This franchise is dead.

There were some important lessons about gender equality.

What are you some kind of horrible monster?

It is not at all the case that I can only enjoy arthouse or Oscar-decorated movies.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Sharknado 5", for instance. But compared to "The Last Jedi", "Sharknado 5" has a story that is more consistent, has fewer logical loopholes, and is just plain more entertaining.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

What a waste of 2 ˝ hours.

I watched it this afternoon (well, I actually started to watch it last night, and fell asleep after an hour), having reviewed things that Luke's Dad and Moonbat said.

Everything about it seemed disjointed, no sense of "the story" other than "we gotta get away." Too many deus ex machina moments, and too much "cute" stuff - like those annoying bird-like things in the Millennium Falcon (see deus comment). I got the feeling that the writers thought of nothing other than "what's the next neat piece of hardware that we can throw in?"

Feh.

Now that you have seen it let me ask you a question.

Who are better boys or girls?
