Comparing apples to fence posts?
More like assholes to assholes.
One incident is trying to influence the Redskins to change their name because of the tyranny of the PC minority. The other addresses people disrespecting the flag through protest.

I fail to see the confluence.
I don't doubt it.

Personally, I don't see the disrespect in kneeling. I watched the players take a knee and it didn't look disrespectful to me at all. In addition, the action isn't about the flag, it's about the perception that some people have that black people in this country are getting a sh!tty deal. I can't say much about the truth of that, as to be honest it's really outside my own experience, unlike pretty much everybody else posting here who appears to know a lot more than I do about what it's like to be black in this country.

Neither president should be interfering in this issue as far as the football is concerned.
No, it's about the flag.

Players were speaking out about police violence... some people agreed and some didn't. But the flag and the national anthem are not the symbols that should be used in your protest. Not in this way.

Trump didn't start this. He may have exploited it, but he didn't start it.

No, it's about what the flag represents.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.
