Klaus, you may be on to something with that statement. A shot of espresso coffee often settles down kids with ADHD.

My mother-in-law doesn’t drink coffee.

Case closed.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

I'm usually around 8 cups/day.

I guess that's why I'm so laid back I'm almost horizontal. Just big teddy 🐻.

I’m also at about 8 cups. Except on weekend when I make that second pot.

One of my partners and I were discussing that a while ago. He said that his doctor asked how much coffee he drinks, and he said, "Two to three."

"Cups?"

"Pots."

He was not laid back, not at all.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
One 10 ounce cup per day. On a really huge day I MIGHT have two, but that is rare. Decaf does not register to me as being real coffee and I seldom finish it. The only time it is useful is at night with a dessert perhaps.

That's pretty much me as well - 8 ounces, and about once a week, I'll have two such cups.

morning-freeze dried instant with milk, just run of the mill nescafe to get the day going
mid morning-capuccino at the coffee bar at work
late afternoon-espresso at the coffee bar at work
maybe a decaf espresso after dinner

thats my daily intake.

when in italy that doubles usually.

Try a Keurig.

Not as good as making a pot, but infinitely better (assuming you have a coffee pod you like) than instant. And about as fast.

Community makes a really good half-caff. All the flavor, but half the caffeine.

i have a nespresso machine, but in the morning, its just boil water and and drink and run.

back in the day i used filters, and then a french press, but i got tired of the fuss and mess.

i prefer to pay a barista to make me my coffee at work.

I'd calibrate your statement to something more like this; I think it ups the chances.
I cite irreconcilable differences.
