I don't know that there will ever be a better helicopter than the venerable Huey. It was great for medevac, transport, as a gunship, and for rappelling. It's an all-around, infinitely versatile workhorse, and when I was a flight medic, the guys that were piloting them were Vietnam vets. Those guys kicked ass, and they could land that thing on a dime in the middle of Bumfuck Egypt.
