HOLY CARP!!!
I disagree strongly with how the hospital managed this situation, but the article does not tell us whether the hospital is physically preventing the parents from bringing their kids home, or whether this is really about the effort required to turn a normal room into an intensive care unit or the like. Declining the latter would be understandable.

I still don't get this. The parents had raised the funds for the experimental treatment and the transportation, correct? Then how the he'll does the government have the ability to stop them?
