Not bad. Especially when the opposition part AND his own party are bucking his efforts.

I believe Ms. Clinton is still unincarcerated.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Can't even get his own party to support him. Poor leadership. Sad!

Tracking Trump promises

I think he cares about keeping them. Seems almost human of him.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Hate to always be the wet blanket, but did you actually read the piece?

Of course there's inevitably some subjectivity in deciding what's 'kept' vs 'in progress' vs 'broken', etc. But this goes well beyond a generous read, veering perilously close to propaganda..

For example - making mexico pay for the wall. It lists its status as 'Compromise'. Come on. A compromise would be Mexico paying for half of it. Or one tenth. Or something. There's no sign of any such thing. He hasn't even floated a suggestion of how they might be made to pay for it. (he suggested import tariffs, but that's US consumers paying for it).

So a generous read would list that one as 'too early to tell'. A realistic read would say that promise was never serious, IOW, it was broken upon utterance.

Another example - this lists 'suspend immigration from terror prone regions' That wasn't the campaign promise. The campaign promise was a ban on muslim immigration. The act of issuing the 6 country suspension was a concession to the unconstitutionality of the original promise - in effect, a breaking of the promise. So that should get the rating 'broken'. Instead, it gets 'in progress'.

That's just two examples from the first page.

Maybe I'm not being generous enough on Mexico paying for the wall. He asked, Peņa Nieto told him to go fvck himself. Trump then asked congress for money for the wall and was largely refused. But contrary to the will of the Mexicans he did not actually go fvck himself. So I guess maybe that's a compromise?

I'm reminded of a very funny line in Twain's Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, which somehow I remember 30 years after reading it. It describes what happens after the Yankee wakes up in Camelot, and is happened upon by a Knight.

"So we fixed up an arrangement whereby I was to go with him and he was not to hurt me".

Maybe that's the kind of 'deal' that Trump struck with Mexico.
