[troll]I always considered "Paint it black" to be the best Beatles song, even though the quality of their songs decreased dramatically after Jim Morrison left the band[/troll] |

Of course they got it all wrong. When they played "I Want to Hold Your Hand" on Ed Sullivan it changed the world. One thing about the Beatles is that most people my age or close to it could probably recognize all 213 of those songs. And they probably know most of the lyrics. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

Ridiculous. He doessnt start giving positive reviews until 135 or so. And he put revolution #9 at 114, a track I have not been able to listen to in its entirety for the past 49 years of its existence. And he has a helluva lot of masterpieces north of number 135. I don't buy into his ranking. And I'm still a heavy Beatles listener. Edited by bachophile, Jun 16 2017, 07:11 AM.

They pretty much all suck. |
| The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it. | |

It's hard to take any list seriously that rates 'Drive my Car' above 'Yesterday' |

I think I'll listen to the 1 Album this afternoon - 27 #1 songs. From "Love Me Do" through "The Long and Winding Road" |

That was enjoyable reading. |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |

A more appropriate comparison would be "What are the 100 best insect bites?" or "218 viral infections, ranked from worst to best." Edited by Luke's Dad, Jun 17 2017, 03:03 AM.

Wouldn't this be more accurately described as one person's opinion (one person who spends waaaay too much time dwelling on the beatles), as opposed to some factual ranking. Or, as Mik says, silly. |
