Didja notice the pocket holes for the screws?

Probably made with a Kreg jig.

And another thing (just to pick a nit). He could have picked his lumber a bit more carefully as to match grains. Look at the leg on the left (which looks almost like quarter-sawn oak) and compare to the leg on the right, and the apron:

But, he's 15, and I don't think the aesthetics of picking lumber were foremost in his mind.
