Classical piano music quiz

HOLY CARP!!!
Rules:
The current player posts a snippet from the sheet music of a classical piano music piece.
The person who makes the first correct guess which piece it is has to come up with the next snippet.

If nobody comes up with the solution, the current player resolves the puzzle and everybody can post the next puzzle.

Don't use exotic pieces that nobody knows. The excerpt can be from the beginning or from in between. Give hints if nobody comes up with the solution.

Technical issues: If you don't know how to post an image excerpt, get familiar with how to copy a portion of your screen to the clipboard (on OS X, for instance, it's Cmd-Alt-Shift-4). Then you can use a service such as http://pasteboard.co/ . Paste the image and get the "embed URL". Then place that URL inside an [img] tag.

I'll start.

It is the piece that no one who is shopping for a piano should ever play at the piano showroom, for they will be thrown out.

OK, that one will impress the dealer in the piano showroom more, especially if you play all 30 variations of it.

Next one coming up in a second. This one is somewhat harder, I guess.

Too hard? Too boring?

Note the unusual time: 9/16.

The movement of that piece shown here is also, like the one before, a kind of theme with variations. It's quite famous, too, but very hard to play. Some people say you need to be at least 50 years old to have the maturity to play that piece.

Op 111 c minor sonata. I actually had to play it to recognize it. Then it was instantaneous.

This one may be too easy. But that one note stuff has to stop. :)

Scriabin Op 8 No 12?

I can't find the exact place but at least it's very close:

Just curious, did you play it? (right hand anyway)

I only ask because I thought it would be too recognizable. But maybe this piece isn't as familiar as I think it is, since my Dad used to play it a lot when I was a kid.
