OK, I'll try a couple more.

Currently, I'm in the middle of Endeavour on Amazon Prime. Wonderful detective series, if you like that sort of thing - the prequel to Morse.

I've enjoyed Endeavour as well. That said, Shawn Evans is not John Thaw, is he? Some of the connections to Morse seem contrived, almost like "bet you didn't know that *this* happened, did you?"

I think I'm liking the pathologist the most in this re-incarnation of Morse.

And, speaking of which, what about those names?

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

1. I like it.
2. It's made for an American audience. That's where the sponsor and the money are at.

I think Clarkson is more mid-Atlantic. He's got English teeth and an American belly.

And that stupid bit with the RAF and the fight with the audience was pointless, contrived and unfunny.

Doesn't happen again.
There was the Football (American) vs. Football (Soccer) scene in Memphis. That was pretty similar.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.
