Really? Why? I can't say I follow this stuff that closely but she seems like one of their biggest stars.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Infobabes are replaceable. Look at Katie Couric, Anne Curry, Jane Pauley...it's a plug-n-play role. There's always somebody in the background just as smart with a younger face and perkier teats.

Remember...

Well, I coulda been an actor

Or a journalist either, for that matter...

Mmmmmmm, pie!
I enjoyed Megyn Kelly at first. But I got tired of her trying to be "cutesy". She has far too high an opinion of herself, both in her abilities and her looks.

Once she began tilting to the left, what little use for her I had left, left. Now, I hope they don't renew her contract.

I dont think it is true for just females, but for males also. On occasion, there is a TV star (news, comedy, etc) who thinks they deserve more pay, bigger role, more recognition, etc. They say that if they dont get it, they will leave. Sometimes they leave, and the show goes on. A similar "clone" to them is put in place and after a few weeks, nobody notices.

Apparently you get fired a lot quicker from the Murdoch organisation for not toeing the party line than you do for sexually harassing the staff or hacking murdered girl's cell-phones.

It's nice to see these traditional journalistic values in action.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
