ZOOOOOM!

Been looking at a handful of YouTube videos from mando players, trying to get an idea for the instrument's strengths and weaknesses, what to start practicing first and how, etc. I found some really amazing stuff out there. A lot of nameless places in America are home to some incredible musicians. And you know, some of these people don't give a crap about their page views. They're not promoting their channel, they're not trying to gain subscribers, they're not making deals with small businesses to peddle their crap in the form of trumped-up review videos... hell most of them don't even have any intros. "Here's me playing some stuff the end." So do you think that a single one of these people spend their time correcting social injustice on fucking Facebook? We don't need a "national conversation." What the national conversationalists need is to find something to do. Major issues aside, having something constructive to care about will solve almost all of our pedestrian racial problems. It'll also fix sexism, xenophobia and the perpetuation of moon landing conspiracies. |

MAMIL

It's hard to save the world if you're playing the mandolin. Some might say we need saving from mandolin players, not by them.

I sure as hell don't want anyone to hear my crap for quite some months that's for sure. It can be other things, though. Get into trees or freemium apps or Billy Blanks workouts, it doesn't matter. |

Actually, we're just fat, dumb and happy, with very little of consequence to actually shake our well-crafted cocoons. |

How many policemen does it take to push a black man down a flight of stairs? None. He fell. |
