Has anybody else noticed that Amazon, and Prime in particular is a lot less prime than it used to be?

I ordered two separate items about a week ago, with promised 'two-day delivery' which you get with Prime, and they're still not shipped - I've noticed this happening a lot more often of late. If this continues I may be forced to do something drastic like complain a lot pointlessly.

Yes, I have noticed it as well. I think there's a new option when you search to only select those items that ship in 2 days.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

There is an Amazon shipping point?, whatever, in Austin. They deliver to your home.

My son selects his desired items from a limited menu, and the package is delivered same day.

My current orders both say 'Shipping later today', and have been saying that since last Thursday. They're still expecting to deliver today. We shall see.

Get in touch with support (either via email or chat). Amazon is very responsive.

D'Oh, did you look up the tracking number (if one has been assigned) at the package carrier to see what the status is? I had something get stuck in the bowels of UPS a few weeks ago. Very unusual for them, things usually fly through.

Let us begin anew, remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness.

HOLY CARP!!!
Over here, Amazon Prime is still rock solid. If I order at 9pm in the evening, the package is usually in my home 12-18 hours later. It happens only very rarely that they don't keep their delivery promises.

Yeah, I'll do that - I'll probably give them another day or two, as it isn't actually late yet. It's not a big deal in this case, I just noticed overall that Amazon seems to drop the ball more often than it used to.
