Average Americans Just Got A Huge Income Boost

The latest report shows that median household income have risen by 5.2% in 2015, supposedly the sharpest rise in a long time. It's yuuuge!

So ... you guys felt 5.2% richer in 2015 compared to 2014?

Uh, no. I'm precisely as poor then as now.

In fact with inflation I'm losing money.

But as long as I can keep it all afloat I really don't give a shit.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Exactly 50% (plus or minus one unit) felt richer than me, and 50% (plus or minus one unit) felt poorer than me.

But wait, that's if I'm median. Maybe I'm not. I don't know where I am, so the answer is: I don't know.

Yes, more money!!!

Except I'm paying a fortune for health care, it's going up and up.
Groceries/inflation.
Every "necessity" i.e., Comcast, conveniently raises their rates.

Net result?

Guess.

So maybe we should get into the healthcare business.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy
