HOLY CARP!!!

The hospital I'm in is the same hospital that sent my dad home several years ago, when he had a 103 temperature. The said there was nothing they could do. You told me to call the ambulance again ASAP and have them taken to a different hospital which I did. The second hospital gave him fluids and found he had pneumonia. Thus he was saved. I truly think he would've died if you hadn't advised me. Now I'm in that hospital. It concerned me at first and I didn't want to come here. A lot of changes were made including a lot of people getting fired etc. new board of directors yadayadayada. They've been excellent both ER and the surgeons and follow-up personnel, The other hospital which actually saved my dad is terrible now. They've had all kinds of sanitary problems and were even closed down in some departments. In some parts of the hospital they were finding rats and other vermin plus excrement on the walls. Go figure |

Justme I remember that your father was sick but I honestly don't remember all the details. Maybe it was even during the piano world era? Be that as it may, I think the combined wisdom of the people here on this forum, and there are some very wise intelligent people here, have helped all of us, in many situations. Some more serious and some more frivolous. I wish you the best of health and many more years of sharing here. Edited by bachophile, Sep 2 2016, 11:31 AM.

First, I apologize for my deplorable grammar. My only excuse is, I was in the hospital and typing on an Ipad. You are right. It was in the Old Coffee Room (what a place!) and Johnmoonlight chimed in his advice as well. In any case, I still tell the story of my on-line friends who saved my dad's life. We lost him about 5 years ago to Diabetes. But you helped get an extra few years for him. Aside to Catseye: I'm doing fine. Thank you for asking. I feel much better without that nasty old organ. I knew something was wrong. It was a wake up call for me to start taking care of myself. I've neglected certain things and now it's best I behave. It was heartbreaking watching Noah and Adam watch me go away in an ambulance. We all thought it was my heart. They were as scared as I was. Nathan was out of town at the time. The neighbor had to take the boys until their other grandpa came for them. Actually, Nathan will be out of town every week for the next 3 months. Therefore, I don't have a lot of time for on-line activity. |

Sorry to hear of your travails, Peggy. Lately, I've been hearing from more and more people who have been going through the same thing. Heal fast! |
