I give it to Ward because not only did he recover two turnovers, he also made 3 huge open field tackles on 3rd down. |

Good game. Disgusting challenged trashy in the ads but trashy won on volume. |

I was rooting for Cam. The white guy won again though. So now the white guy won against Cam and Rex Grossman. |

Not the best game for the casual fan. Not much offense, fairly low score. But if you can appreciate defense? Oh my! Hard-nosed, slobber-knocking defense - from both teams. Stats tell us that when a Super Bowl team comes in with the number one defense in the league, they have won 9 out of 11. They can now make that 10 out of 12. Good ball game... |

Yes it was. When people tell you defense wins games, this is what they are talking about. I thought it was great to see both QBs struggling. |

Like the '85 Bears their defense was exceptional. I believe they scored more points than the offense. Like the Bears, their games all season were characterized by low scoring on both sides but I enjoy that kind of football. I think they clearly stunned Cam who probably was not expecting what swooped down on him. As one commentator said, you can watch them on films or on TV but until you face them in real life you have no idea how incredibly fast they are. |

The '85 Bears stunned Tony Eason in the super bowl. Actually he was a wide-eyed choke, Cam Newton wasn't quite as bad as Eason but he was in that same ballpark. Did Newton choke? I have to say yes but it might be debatable. The other difference from '85 is that the Broncos didn't have the Fridge on offense. |

Yes. Cam faced little adversity this year and you could tell he simply expected to win. |

He was here a couple of weeks ago for the 30th anniversary celebration of the Bears' win. ![]() http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/01/26/85-bears-celebrate-30th-anniversary-of-super-bowl-win/ Pathetic, isn't it? Since the Bears haven't won since then, we just keep celebrating the only time they did....

Apparently Mr. Newton walked out on the post game news conference. I just caught this now on espn. They are raking him over the coals for being a bad loser and a big baby. |

It was clear he was extremely emotional about it and did not want to break down in public. Here is a man who clearly EXPECTED to win. It is surely hubris, but still see no need to attack him excessively. |

I dunno. I think he was a guy who was feeding off the hype this season. Basically, Cam is a big kid, and he flies highest when he thinks he is unstoppable. Well, yesterday, he got stopped. Hard. I think it chilled him to the marrow. |

And another thing...some of Bum Phillips best teams were kept out of the Super Bowl by some of Shula's best Miami teams. Don't ya know ol' Bum had a grin on his face, when his boy was calling the defense for the Broncos and giving Shula's boy (the Panther's offensive coordinator) stomach ulcers? |

Sorry, but I hated Cam's celebrating (don't like Aaron Rodgers celebrating either). I don't mind other positions celebrating, but as QB you are the leader of men. You should be above that. I liked him giving the ball to the kids, but the rest of it? Well, if he celebrates like an 8 year old boy, are you surprised when he sulks like an 8 year old boy? |
