Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Speed kills.
yep. before our changes to the process for getting a driver's license (takes longer, many restrictions re passengers, time of day), these guys likely would have been victims of a road accident. They just found another way.

well the tracks are used for mulitiple sports, and I guess when used for training, they just use certain sections. This is an Olympic training facility - not meant for middle of the night joy rides.

So the bobsled simply ended abruptly because a gate was closed? That's bad.

Actually, something similar happened last year not far from my place. A 25 year old guy was also trying a boblsed at night with two buddies and died when he crashed into a service vehicle that was parked on the bobsled track.

very similar. Maybe this is more common than we think. I can certainly see how the idea of doing this would be enticing.

Can certainly imagine saying "yes" if a friend of mine at that age had come up with the idea.

I wouldn't have come up with the idea, but that doesn't say much about me, one way or the other.

Probably wouldn't have said "yes" if I'd seen the death on the bobsled in the previous Olypmics, can't remember which one. Somebody got thrown off their sled on a turn, and hit a hard place.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

that was Vancouver (Whistler) 2010. I guess that's long enough ago that these teens wouldn't remember.
