What's yours? Since I'm making sourdough bread tomorrow, I plan to save some of the dough for Sunday to make pizza. Yes, you read that right, sourdough pizza crust. It's delicious. Probably will make two small pizzas, one Canadian bacon, and the other a margherita pizza of fresh mozzarella and fresh basil on a chunky tomato sauce. Beverages? Soda for me, beer for hubby. What's on your menu? |

Brenda: SB Menu. What's yours? Here's a glimpse at a non-sports mind. At first I thought "SB" was Santa Barbara and Brenda and Mr. Brenda were splitting the snow scene for California and wanted to know the best places to eat. Then I thought it must mean "snowbound". Only lastly did Superbowl finally drop in the slot. |

We do chili also. But I also do the Queso recipe that's on the label of Rotel. But I do it in a small crockpot. I also added ground beef to it which the can recipe doesn't call for. 1 10 oz can Rotel 1 package (16 oz) Velvetta cut into 1 inch cubes 1 pound ground beef In a skillet, brown the ground beef. After browning, drain the beef. Add the Rotel and cheese, along with the ground beef to the crock pot. Let mixture melt, stirring occasionally. Serve with Tostitos for dipping. |

Substitute ground possum for ground beef in Improv's recipe, and you'll have hit the zone of perfection for Superbowl food.

glad to see I'm not the only one puzzling over the SB. also didn't get 'guac' right away no pineapple on pizza please. what does a fresh, tree ripened avocado taste like? I often wonder, when waiting for my rock hard purchases to become just rightly ripened in a paper bag. Often they taste like absolutely nothing. |

We're not watching the SB. No cable, and we don't care (even though we live in Charlotte). We had leftover German food from last night (Wienerschnitzel, spaetzle, und rotkohl) with an addition of salmon and veggies. Bailey's for dessert. We continued our SB tradition of not watching it and doing Ikea-related things. Put together a drawer. Woo. |
| And how are you today? | |
