HOLY CARP!!!
The last time I brought up how Cruz and Rubio both lack government experience like the then Sen. Obama of 2008, some one corrected me saying that unlike Obama and Rubio, Cruz has years and years of government experience as a prosecutor.

Cruz has years and years of government experience as a prosecutor.
5 years as Solicitor General - not the same as a "prosecutor". He also argued several cases before the US Supreme Court, including 70 briefs for the SCOTUS, with 9 appearances before SCOTUS.

Get back to me with Obama's writings and briefs before he became a Senator.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

A sizable subset of them just want to stop immigration completely.
What presidential candidate wants to stop immigration completely?
The guy who has consistently maintained and currently maintains one of the strongest approval ratings amongst Republicans.

Seems to me that despite the bombast, Trump said nothing about Indians, Koreans, Germans, Irish, or (gasp!) Englishmen and Canadians. He'd probably even let Australians in, once they learn the language. :lol2:

No, read the italicized, bolded word I posted.
Sure. I sided with Ax, though, because your question was meant to imply that no one was doing that. What I'm saying is that in reality, Trump's kind of close.

So okay yes, no one wants to keep 100% of the rest of the world from entering the U.S. But where does that get us? It doesn't make Republican candidates' views on immigration a good idea or even rational.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

And Ax said eliminate completely, as in "none" "zero" "zilch". No one, afaik, other than Ax, said that. That's all.

I was responding to Ax's hyperbole, and your backing it up with, well, nothing.

If you want to get into a discussion about immigration policy, that's one thing. But "completely" is another thing, completely.

Sorry I missed it.

Well, as I pointed out elsewhere, countries do eliminate entire subsets of people who want to immigrate. Among them are New Zealand and Australia.

Is this based on any kind of real statistics or is it from watching the cnn people whip themselves into a frenzy?
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy
