Best commentary on tonight's caucuses

Put aside the egghead commentary: This will come down to five keys.

1. The Expectations Game. Some people have expectations, other people have different expectations. Here's the thing: some of those people don't know which way is up. The thing about expectations is that you should only expect the unexpected. That's why most people are fucking dumb.

2. The Trump Factor. Will Trump be a factor? The smart money says "maybe, maybe not." Others disagree. How do you like them apples, Bozo?

3. Issues. People have issues, but will they be able to get over their issues? I asked this question of the so-called "pundits" --most of them answered "What?" Exactly, dummies. Now shut up and go back to reading "books," noodledick.

4. The Enthusiasm Gap. Do you like gaps? If so, how much? Would you say you're enthusiastic about them? If so, this campaign is all about you, no matter what the so-called "people" say. People are the worst and should be avoided unless you need sex or food.

And finally:

5. Turnout. Will there be turnout? And if so -- who will voters turn out for? All these so-called "experts" can't answer this one simple question. That's why they're assholes.

So there.

An entrance poll:
Quote:

HARRY ENTEN 8:12 PM

Here’s an absolutely nutso stat from the early entrance poll: 17-to-29-year-olds on the Democratic side are going 91 percent to 8 percent for Sanders over Clinton. They make up only 15 percent of the electorate, however.

Quote:

NATE SILVER 8:22 PM

Entrance polls have Donald Trump narrowly leading on the Republican side, although remember that some voters make up their minds (or can have their minds changed) at the caucus site. They also suggest, however, that Marco Rubio made up a lot of ground on Trump at the last minute. Among voters who decided “in the last few days,” Rubio won 29 percent of the vote to just 10 percent for Trump. And Rubio, Trump and Ted Cruz were virtually tied among voters who said they made their minds up just today.

Jeb Bush is currently projected to win about 2,600 votes in Iowa, or about 2 percent of the overall turnout. That would work out to one vote per $25,000 in spending by Bush’s super PAC, Right to Rise, which has spent a total of $64.8 million so far. (Granted, not all of that money has been spent in Iowa.)

The big question: What does a Trump concession speech look like?
I love the people of Iowa, and I'm honored. I want to congratulate everybody, especially Mike Huckabee who's become a great friend of mine. I want to thank my family.

We're 28 points ahead in New Hampshire, and we'll be there tomorrow. We'll be proclaiming victory there.

Maybe Hillary has problems other than the nominations, and we'll beat her, or Bernie, or whoever the hell they throw up there.

I may come back to Iowa and buy a farm.
Sit down.

Ann Tweets:
Quote:

Trump is the leading GOP vote-getter tonight, among natural-born-American candidates.

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) February 2, 2016

The only scandal bigger than Hillary's denial of her email scandal is Rubio's denial of his support for amnesty.

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) February 1, 2016

Based upon exit polls, Rubio seems to have gotten the lion's share of the Prevaricating Little Weasel vote.

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) February 2, 2016

GOPs just show up & vote. Fox trying to suppress Trump vote by telling 1st time caucusers that GOPs bicker all nite. https://t.co/9UTwAGYpdf

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) February 2, 2016

Fox is slyly denigrating Cruz by ignoring him. IT APPEARS HE'S ABOUT TO WIN. But it's all hands on deck for the sweaty little Mario.

I think she'd stopped posting about the caucus at that point and had most likely changed channels.
