Wonder what the response to this would have been in Paris circa 1870?
Better yet, try after 18 Brumaire, 1799.

Crazy. Rachel's headed there Sunday for a shoot.
Dont count on it.
Got a mass company email this evening at 6 cautioning all employees to cancel business travel to France until further notice.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

I can't help but wonder if the Iranian State Visit has anything to do with this?
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Wow. Just woke up to this.

All borders of France have been closed.

Europe is at war.

Lots of issues here, but surely the nations of the world can agree ISIS is made up of bad people who really don't deserve to breathe.

I doubt her trip will be canceled. It's a Paris-based client after all. It's not like they'll take the week off. Besides, big commercial shoots have a lot of momentum behind them. You book studios, models, stylists, photographers, etc well in advance. You can't just shift the lot of them one week.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Let me preface this by saying I think that taking in a million Syrian refugees is a bad idea. In fact a horrible idea.

With that aside, I'd bet real money most of these terrorists were not Syrian refugees.

This is probably also a one-of. I doubt that ISIS (which has claimed responsibility, by the way) is planning another attack in Paris. No, they'll go to another city, similarly vulnerable, and strike there. For now, I guess they'll lay low for a few weeks/months and let the situation simmer down.

Then where? Berlin? Madrid? New York?

Young dudes. It's not like they're afraid to die. They think they're special. That's funny.

You just don't do it to others.

It's a great idea to fix the borders, this incident might help with that.

Now we have to fix isis. We have to end the reason that the refugees are created.

or maybe revoke citizenship of any european national travelling to syria to fight or train...not sure that has legal precedent but hard times need hard measures.

We bomb the Islamic state killing hundreds of people on a daily basis in their part of the world--it's a bit naïve to think they wouldn't bomb us on occasion in our part of the world.

We have to make it so they don't have a part of the world.

Why yes, being that these sort of fanatics are from whom the refugee families are fleeing.

Never underestimate your opponent. I know if I was ISIS, I'd be smuggling oodles of sleepers in with the refugees....

Sure... it could NEVER happen here. Lets roll out the red carpet.

Quote:

Numerous experts have warned that rolling out the red carpet to migrants from the Middle East would substantitally heighten the risk of terrorists being able to cross into Europe, although such concerns were dismissed by many at the time as fearmongering.

Fearmongering... right...

Tell that to the over 400 death and wounded... just fearmongering.
Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments
and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism.
