HOLY CARP!!!
So this morning my wife was getting on my case about me gaining a pound or two. And I had naught to say. So we go to Sunday Go-To-Meeting (the Catholic version) and as we were sitting under the Witness Tree (again the Catholic version) the lector read the words of Holy Scripture from 1Kings 19:5 (they read a lot of other stuff, too, but this is the important part):

And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

An angel does that to me, too. And it's hard to argue with an angel.

Hey, that was handy!

Do you get on her case about gaining weight, too? She might use the same verse.

She was 115 when I married her and 36 years later she's 115.

She's Satan Spawn.

Unless the angel has cleverly disguised itself as the devil, quoting scripture for his own purposes. :D

Your wife might have put a different slant on those angelic words. She'll be waking you up to do stuff.
Every morning the soul is once again as good as new, and again one offers it to one's brothers & sisters in life.
