Michael Moore's House for Sale

Quote:

Michael Moore is selling his spectacular house on Michigan's Torch Lake for a $5.2 million.

The filmmaker, who is well-known for courting controversy in his documentaries, has a sprawling seven-bedroom home in Upper Michigan near Traverse City.

The director chose to live close to the city which hosts the Traverse City Film Festival which he founded in 2005.

It's one of the higher-end properties in the neighborhood, which has been known for having celebrity residents and visitors, including music artists Kid Rock and Eminem.

Listing agent Nancy Albrecht told the New York Post that it has everything a buyer would want. 'When you walk through the front door, it blows your mind. There are views from every room.'

'It's a beautiful house,' Albrecht said. 'Pictures really can't show you all the property has to offer. It's an upper-end property, and a lot of well-known celebrities are in the market.'

The 11,058-square-foot home includes an artist's studio, library and mud room. There's even a guesthouse alongside the home.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

HOLY CARP!!!
I looked up Torch Lake--it has an average depth of 111 feet. Here in Florida I think the average depth of lakes is around 10 feet.

Nice house though.
