Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I think I'd have to get the catapult/castle one, and the killer rabbit set. Funnily, we got some Elderflower juice drink (that's what they called it) at Ikea, and it made me think of this movie.
And how are you today?

I was at a party once, and two of the guests had never met. The first was sitting playing with Lego that was on the hosts coffee table. The second arrived and the first thing he said was "oh Lego!" And he sat down next to her and they started building things together. Five minutes later I said "oh! Steve, Corey, no one introduced you!" They both waved me away and said "it's ok, we're already bonding over Lego!"

That's a great party idea.

Pretty common birthday party theme among the 6 year old boy set.

I never understood why Lego was/is considered a boy's toy. I love Lego!

Don't know ... I have no problem giving Lego to girls to play with, though even Lego the company seems to acknowledge that there is a gender bias with their toys and have recently introduced the Lego Friends series to target girl consumers.

Do they even sell the buckets of loose Lego pieces anymore? That's what we had, along with some castle and pirate ship bits and bobs.
And how are you today?

They might. But not much. They concentrate on the packaged toy kits. Much more lucrative.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

When the boy gets done with those, you can encourage a little creativity:
