HOLY CARP!!!
So I watched 'the woman in gold' last night; I'd been looking forward to it because of Helen Mirren. If not for her role, I would have given up on it.
My goodness it was bad. Bad casting, bad writing, bad acting. It is a good story, but totally in the wrong hands here.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Really? I thought the script was the problem. The way they played it out was entirely predictable. The actors just did not have too much to work with.

yes, the script was a joke. The actual story is a good one, and deserved better writing.

ZOOOOOM!
Yeah, pretty clear-cut. I gave it a pass because at least the story itself was good and they didn't try to inflate what it already was.

It was the red beans & rice of historical drama.
I cite irreconcilable differences.
