If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

I kind of felt like we were hijacking Klaus's thread (which will provide at least a full year of entertainment here), so I started this. Last summer in Boston we stayed in this former candy factory made into a Residence Inn. It was great. I recommend viewing the photos. They did a great job. http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bosfp-residence-inn-boston-downtown-seaport/ |

Slightly different but the Pension building in DC. ![]() It's now the National Building Museum. http://www.gsa.gov/portal/ext/html/site/hb/category/25431/actionParameter/exploreByBuilding/buildingId/123 Interesting thing is that it was originally designed by Major General Montgomery Meigs who "despite his Georgia birth, Meigs disapproved strongly of secession, and his large-scale conversion of Robert E. Lee's Arlington estate into a military cemetery was partly a gesture to humiliate Lee for siding with the South." Which would I guess be another "re-purpose." Anyway nice building. |
