Actually with what we spend on oil they ought to be able to build a nice retirement villa for each and every isis family. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

So Larry you are clearly advocating genocide, the killing of up to 400 million people in up to 17 countries. WTF Edited by AndyD, Jul 16 2015, 09:00 PM.

When I write a post here, I do so with the foreknowledge that I am speaking to a group of mostly well educated people with functioning brains, capable of following the plot, and applying critical thinking and logic to quickly sort it all out. I assume for instance, that in the commentary you quoted, most people noticed that I referred to those "countries that are creating problems", and realized that by making that distinction I was not referring to the countries that *aren't* creating problems. By making that distinction any rational person capable of even basic critical thinking would realize that I was not talking about every single country in the middle east. From there, I assumed that rational thinking people would notice that I was making a distinction in general between people as well, since prior to making that particular comment I had not suggested killing all the muslims in the US, but had suggested rounding them up and sending them to the middle east. And since I had not suggested wholesale genocide in my first sentence, and had taken the time to distinguish between countries who were creating problems and those who were not, I expected that rational thinking people reading my commentary would realize that in saying "blow them all to hell" I was referring to 1. those countries creating problems only, and 2. those individuals in those countries creating problems who are... creating problems. I further expected rational thinking people to think deeper than "he's suggesting wholesale genocide" and understand without me having to write it all out for them that it is not necessary to kill every single one of them, but to kill a sufficient number of them until the rest give up in defeat. (and by "them", meaning only those individuals creating problems in those countries only that are creating problems) Apparently you are either 1. not capable of the level of reasoning most everyone else here is capable of, or 2. your desire to take cheap shots at me is so strong that now that you've had your hand called over the name calling, you're resorting to twisting what I say around in an attempt to take a cheap shot at me that way. Either way, you just can't imagine how much I do not care. |

HOLY CARP!!!

Such muddled thinking. Let me clear this up for you: No need to fixate on "Muslim" or "Arab" or whatever, just say "get rid of all trouble makers" and be done with it. |

Ax, you couldn't clear up a lightly fogged window. "All troublemakers" weren't being discussed. Muslim troublemakers were being discussed. |

No it's not. It wasn't a little blue haired old woman on her way home from bingo that shot and killed 4 marines, it was a muslim. The entire discussion in this thread is about muslims. But I expected as much from you. It was you I was thinking about when I qualified my comment about "mostly well educated people" capable of rational thought. |

Whether you fixate on the name or not doesn't really matter. They are coming to your home to blow you to kingdom come. Fixate on a president who has advisers who think it is more important to win today's news cycle than to protect you. |
