"I prefer going flat out because you don't have time to look at the trees." His heart rate is particularly interesting to watch. Pretty good correlation to the speedometer. When he hits 155, his heart is doing 145. HR goes all the way up to 154! How can he talk while doing that? I'd be busy controlling the smartest muscle in the human body. |

I think the commentary is after the fact - I initially thought he was doing it as he drives, but there's no shaking in his voice at all, and if you hear race drivers speak during a lap it's a lot more tense and wobbly than that. |
