I rest my case. Complete with third world corruption scandals. At least our FBI has its priorities straight to attempt to clean up that mess. Which, incidentally, is the first time anything straight has been associated with soccer. http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/28/football/fifa-congress-uefa-blatter/index.html |

Kudos to the FBI for bringing this mess to our attention. It's a shame that Blatter doesn't step down. The soccer system in Africa, Asia, and Latin America is a corrupt swamp. Time for a restart. Maybe UEFA has the balls to retract from FIFA, but I doubt it. |

I told my friend about the deflate-gate scandal. His response was 'Tom who?' |

Why not Nigel Farage? If he can't get those third world countries under control I don't know who can. |

(hat tip BeeLady) John Oliver on FIFA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr6ar3xJL_Q John Oliver's argument for the US to prosecute FIFA corruption is that because the world have such low opinions of FIFA's corrupt leadership, that the US would look awesome for getting rid of such corrupt leadership. |
