And this is in a country where artificial contraception was illegal until 1980. The times they are a changin'.

It's Ireland. They were drunk.

Hmm ...

Drunkenness + 2nd Amendment = unintentional termination of lives

Drunkenness + No legal artificial contraception = unintentional creation of lives

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Of course it's not really relevant to the gay vote, however it's also worth noting that a lot more pregnant girls travel from Dublin to Holyhead than travel in the opposite direction.

Again with the stupidity. Why in the hell would morning after pill legislation have to be a precursor to gay marriage. Anyone stupid enough not to be able to separate the two can see a clear example of how you'd go about doing so by looking at Ireland, the country we're talking about.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

It appears to be stupid but there is more to it.

Deviance from the talking points must be ridiculed. In certain circles this behavior is considered very clever.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

I applaud the government of Ireland for respecting the will of the people and their votes, and wish I could say the same for the government of the United States of America.....

Was the vote tallied by Michael Fitzpatrick?
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Since the vote was about gay marriage, shouldn't the tally be by Whacker?
