I always figured, top tier law, everyone gets a job, most in Big Law. Second tier, better be law review editor if you want big law, another 50-60% will find something. Third tier? It's a crap shoot. Best bet might be hang your own shingle and do retail stuff. Nothing wrong with that, but it's a hard slog. |

Hard to start hanging your own shingle without experience working for other law firms first, though. |

I've always been impressed, surprised, perhaps, by the huge disparity of incomes of lawyers. Partners in large firms do well - very well, and those who are slogging through, just eke out an existence. It's not the case in medicine. Yeah, there are high earners and lower earners, but it's not along an order of magnitude. |

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

Leave it to a law school to materially misrepresent their performance. If this is not sufficient evidence of too many graduates I don't know what is.

Send them to Iran to help with the Bomb. That should stretch the timeframe enough to satisfy any treasonous congressman. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

Plus, comparatively few on two extremes. Much smaller standard deviation than law. |
