Someone once told me this situation is like the Woolworth Lunch Counter episode from the civil rights era. I beg to differ.

The owners don't believe in gay marriage and therefore do not want to do those type of wedding cakes. However, that doesn't mean they won't sell you a birthday cake if you are gay, or a dozen fudge brownies.

The plaintiff in this case is seeking a little over $7 for their gas and time. The State of Washington is seeking thousands +.
