Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Maybe it's not living together that ruins a marriage, maybe it's getting married that ruins living together :)

ZOOOOOM!
I'll tell you what, living together certainly ruined my relationship.

I thought it would be a good way to test the waters, for us to get to know each other better before we decided on something more permanent, that sort of thing. But from the get-go it was all "who the hell are you, what are you doing in my house, I'm calling the police," yadda yadda yadda.

With that much lack of cooperation, I thought it best to end it before it got more complicated.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

We cohabited after we were engaged, but we were also in our 30s. Earlier efforts on my part produced less successful results.

Sex before marriage can also wreak havoc on a relationship, particularly if it's with the Maid of honour.

As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

It's a very ancient saying
But a true and honest thought
That if you become a teacher
By your pupils you'll be taught

As a teacher I've been learning
You'll forgive me if I boast
And I've now become an expert
On the subject I like most

Getting to know you

Getting to know you
Getting to know all about you
Getting to like you
Getting to hope you like me

Getting to know you
Putting it my way
But nicely
You are precisely
My cup of tea

Getting to know you
Getting to know all about you
Getting to like you
Getting to hope you like me

Getting to know you
Putting it my way
But nicely
You are precisely

My cup of tea

Getting to know you
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you
Getting to know what to say

Haven't you noticed
Suddenly I'm bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I'm learning about you
Day by day

Getting to know you
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you
Getting to know what to say

Haven't you noticed
Suddenly I'm bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I'm learning about you
Day by day

That's a great song. But - from my youth - there is another one that has a useful message too.

"Throw Her Away (And Get A New One)"

Just like everything else in this world
Time wreaks havoc on every girl
What do you do, what do you do,
what do you do?

Throw her away and get a new one

If you've got a girl with elegant taste
It's only a matter of time
Bowling or root beer or taking the train
A girl in her decline

Throw her away and get a new one,
Throw her away and get a new one,
Throw her away and get a new one,
a new one

Just like everything else in this world
Changes come to the strongest of girls
What do you do, what do you do,
what do you do?

Throw her away and get a new one

Now may we present, she's the top of
the line a 1959
In top notch shape, but it's always
the same
It's only a matter of time

Throw her away and get a new one,
Throw her away and get a new one,
Throw her away and get a new one,
a new one

If you've got a girl, better look at her waist
If you've got a girl, better check out her face
Or maybe it's only a change in your taste

Throw her away and get a new one,
Throw her away and get a new one,
Throw her away and get a new one,
a new one
