HOLY CARP!!!
I slammed my pinky toe into the edge of a table. It hurts like hell and is very swollen and difficult to move, but it doesn't appear to be hanging at an odd angle or anything.

Hopefully not broken?

Thank god I don't need to be back at work til Monday.

Finally
Probably broken. Hurts like sunofabitch. Nothing to do except perhaps "buddy tape" it to the adjacent toe. That'll limit its independent movement and stabilize. No biggie other than the pain.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Sorry to hear it Riley. That sucks.

I broke some bone in the middle of my foot a few months ago. Don't even know exactly when it happened, but I was walking around carrying 50 lb suitcases on my tile bathroom floor (that's where the scale is, and we were weighing them), so I guess that's when it happened. I woke up the next morning with my right foot throbbing at the knuckle of the middle toe. I figured it'd heal eventually, and it's painless now, but the toe sits at a slight angle. The bone mended, but not straight. Probably should have went to a doctor, but it's no big deal.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

No biggie other than the pain.

With all the Christmas Classics on yesterday I watched Die Hard for a while. That guy had foot pain.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Sorry to hear that, Riley. Yes, tape it to the next toe to support it.
