Somebody needs to get laid.
Done (2x).

Median number of orgasms: 1 but σ = 15! I have a hypothesis to explain that data, but for statistical confidence (p <0.01) I need a lot more experiments. Proper science is hard work.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

OK, the new TNCR download is here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/13phl8z74z9c1o7/posts.zip?dl=0

It contains 1291169 posts, which is surprisingly more than the post counter for TNCR (which is only 1252921).
As a sample, I checked the number of posts of jon-nyc, which is 42718 - more than the 41155 reported by the board software.
Either I did something wrong or the forum software doesn't count right. But in any case the data now seems to be rather complete.

New data on length of posts (in words per post), now based on the complete database.

Posted Image
This is a box plot. The left and right sides of the boxes are the first and third quartiles, respectively, and the band inside the box is the the median.

I guess I need to get laid. Again.

Riley, your distribution does not only have low median word-per-post, but is also extremely right-skewed! You should work on your post length distribution pattern! :lol2:

OK, so now we have a scoreboard. Who won?
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Quantifying people is fun.

Everybody does that intuitively, to some extent, some with more self awareness about it than others.

But just so everybody knows, I'm magic, and unquantifiable in any way. Just like everybody else.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Intuitively, it seems that amanda won. Not only is her bar the biggest, but she's clear, which must mean essential invisibility. Which is just plain cool.

Tonight was not a big success. My wife muttered something about exponential decay. I proposed that a Monte-Carlo random sampling of other female subjects may stabilize the results but she threatened me with a with a singularity that would dramatically alter the topology of involved body parts.

Personally, as I wife, I'd be more forgiving of the Monte Carlo random sampling (& I did google this). I'd explain it to others as a weekend in Vegas. It kind of fits, eh?
