HOLY CARP!!!
Methodology:
Following up on the ideas described in this previous thread, I scraped around 10% of the posts to TNCR and analyzed for each user which words he used. Then I weighted these words by comparing them to the average frequency with which this word occurs in TNCR posts, such that it becomes visible which words are characteristic for each user.

I only show the top 20 words for the top 40 posters.

I guess some of these words may stem from this post of yours, in which these same non-words are repeated many times, hence giving them a lot of weight in my algorithm. I normalize words by removing all numbers, which explains why the different printer models in the same serious count as many occurrences of the same non-word.

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. Damn, I wish I never posted that now, I'm curious what words I use a lot. A lot of the other lists had me laughing out loud.

That's because you are not in the top 40 in my list. I have only sampled around 10% of the TNCR posts, and maybe many of those samples are from a period where you were not so active.

But since you asked nicely, here is your list:

moose , fvck , fvcking , japanese , sht , agreed , yep , crap , boy , hate , hell , several , cool , asked , everyone , happy , looking , yeah , etc , night

I guess I need to risk being IP-banned by invisionfree and download all of TNCR. It would be interesting to see how this data changes when it is grouped by year.

Any other ideas what kinds of statistics would be interesting?

Ha, actually that's a cool new project.

I'll define a metric for language similarity and cluster us according to how similar we are to the other posters, respectively.

I don't have enough data from Cosmored.

Here's the list for CrashTest (I used top 40 instead of top 20 words):
"aveu","fo","crashtest","horizontal","hummer","methere","puppets","teh","equation","puppet","alas","irony","da","genius","haha","ha","lunch","nak","ah","interested","liked","feet","meant","chance","girl","class","indeed","jesus","happened","wait","information","myself","answer","exactly","fun","mind","woman","human","perhaps","group"

Something is wrong with your programming. I've never said "trounce", or "lars", nor "unbelievers", nor "ritter"...and I most definitely would never say "truthoutorg". Also, the words I would use the most aren't even on the list. You know, things like "dumbass", "moron", "liberal"... but I repeat myself... and I happen to know for a fact that I say "sh!t" a lot....

I bet Klaus has not corrected for "quoted text", so if Larry tended to argue with certain posters a lot, and quoted them a lot in the midst of arguments, then these other posters' keywords flow over into Larry's statistics. :)

You've used the phrase "We Trounce Freedom" a couple of times in the past. You've also said "truthout" or "truthout.org" a couple of times in the past, e.g., here or here.

I haven't checked the other terms you object to.

You do say "moron" or "liberal" a lot, but so do others. My algorithm only ranks those words high that you use much more than the other posters.
